Tell Senator Joe Robach to Walk the Walk on IDA Reform!

Senator Joe Robach has talked the talk, publicly endorsing IDA reform.

But he has not yet sponsored any legislation.

According to the New York State Comptroller's office, IDAs statewide handed out $456 million in tax breaks in 2006—an 18% increase from 2005. These IDA subsidies resulted in lost revenue to the state and local governments in 2006.

But over half of these subsidized projects were failing projects, meaning that they either experienced job loss, zero job growth, or did not meet their job creation goals.
