The Fight for 15: Its Place In the History of the Labor Movement

There are millions of fast food workers in this country, many of which have to live on wages under $10 an hour. For that reason, thousands of workers have been organizing, going on strike, and doing whatever they can to fight for a $15 per hour wage and a union. The labor movement has historically had some major victories. How does the Fight for 15 fit into the picture? Why is it such a crucial, exciting moment in labor history?

Join community members, workers, and students in this informative discussion led by the Organizing Director of Metro Justice, Colin O'Malley.
