The movement sparked by fast food workers to put an end to poverty wages continues to push forward. We've already won a path to $15 minimum wage for 180,000 fast food workers. Now it's time to win real raises for another 2.5 million workers across the state!

Corporate lobbyists are pushing their propaganda and scare tactics in Albany and in our communities against raising the minimum wage. They tell us that we'll work for poverty wages or we won't work at all. We know that these threats are just about defending their huge profits and the inequality that has resulted. Nearly all wealth in our nation is moving rapidly to the top. Poverty wages is one way for the rich to keep getting richer off the backs of the poor. 

Walmart and McDonald's lobbyists have had their time with the decision makers of the state. But March 15th is our day! In the thousands, we will march on Albany demanding an end to poverty wages. Low-wage workers, community advocates, religious leaders, business people, and many others will join us.
