- Why is our Oil Under Their Soil?
Excerpted from articles by Matt Tabibbi, Sara Flaunders and Salim Muwakkil
Behind the veneer of partisan politics, the Democratic Leadership agrees with the Bush White House on the importance of enforcing multinational access to oil in Iraq and elsewhere. The American corporate oil proboscis is now poised to start sucking the oil out of Iran and nations in Africa.
- Race and Worldview
Richard Kirsch, Citizen Action

Families are torn apart and ex-offenders are stuck with a record as they try to find employment. Black men are being shipped to upstate prisons where they can't vote but are counted in the census, thereby creating more legislative districts for upstate Republican legislators. How is this a good thing?
- Stop Dem Sell-Out on Free Trade!
