Stop Suspending Our Future: Petition to End the School-to-Prison Pipeline

Each year, thousands of students in the Rochester City School District are suspended and hundreds are arrested.

Teen Empowerment, Alliance for Quality Education and Metro Justice hosted the community forum STOP SUSPENDING OUR FUTURE to get feedback on a new code of conduct for the Rochester City Schools. Parents, students, teachers, administrators and community members joined to voice their views. Here are the results of our survey and the notes from our small group brainstorm.
