Rochester can't work on poverty wages! Act in solidarity with fast food workers demanding $15/hour and a union on this national day of action. Three years ago, the bold public actions of fast food workers in Rochester, Buffalo, Albany, and New York City not only won an incremental wage increase to $15/hour by 2021 for fast food workers, but for all workers in New York State.
While that was a significant victory, multibillion dollar corporations like McDonalds, Burger King, and other fast food chains can afford to pay their workers $15/hour NOW and need to treat their works with respect. Come out to support your local fast food workers as they continue to fight for a living wage and the humane working conditions they deserve!
