Our fight to takeover RG&E with a just, affordable, and community-controlled utility is stronger with you!
Our volunteers that have been leading this effort invite you to join us for an introduction to the campaign and to learn more about how you can fight back for the utility that Rochester deserves. We will discuss our experiences with RG&E, how our current energy system works, why we need energy democracy instead, and how we can get there through solidarity and strategic action.
This introductory event will be on Friday, August 26th from 5:45 - 7 PM at the Metro Justice Community Room. Dinner will be provided. Please bring either proof of vaccination or proof of a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours. Kn95 masks will also be required, and provided, when not eating.
