As Metro Justice continues forward building our strategic plan, we look to key allies to help us inform our vision. Local activist and organizer, Ryan Acuff, needs no introduction in our circles. His work with Take Back the Land in particular has been of critical importance in the Rochester area.
A few months ago, Ryan was able to participate in trainings by the James Lawson and Ayni Institutes about the nature of social change in the US and various methods that social justice organizations have taken over the years. He made a commitment at this training to bring it back to Rochester, and has agreed to do one for Metro Justice members interested in our strategic planning process.
This workshop will be held in a popular education style with the hope for participation from all those present. Please come to learn and to share your ideas about how we can create the kind of large-scale change that Metro Justice aims for.
