2018 Education Advocacy Day in Albany
All students in New York have the right to a high quality education.
All kids should have:
· access to music, arts and sports
· updated and culturally relevant textbooks and current technology
· small class sizes
But not all students have these things — especially Black, Brown and low income students.
Governor Cuomo and the State Legislature must work to end racial and economic inequity in education. Join us on January 9 in Albany to demand our elected officials fund the billions they owe our public school students.
We will be leaving the Hungerford Building 1115 E. Main St Rochester NY 14609 at 6:15am on January 9th 2018. This is an all day event. We will not be back in Rochester until around 8:00pm that evening. lunch will be provided. RSVP Today!
