The health care system that we live under is a daily tragedy. Still, even after the passage of the Affordable Care Act, we have people dying due to lack of adequate medical care. Still we have people going bankrupt on medical debt.
There is a better way and it's found in every other industrialized nation in the world - universal, single payer health care. With the recent successes of the NY Health Bill, we think it's becoming more and more likely that New York State could pass a real universal health care bill! But, it means that we need to build the movement and momentum necessary to win it right away or we'll miss out moment.
