"It's time to fight for America's Soul." - Rev. Dr. Barber & Rev. Dr. Theoharis
The Poor People's Campaign is uniting tens of thousands of people across the country to challenge the evils of systemic racism, poverty, the war economy, ecological devastation and the nation's distorted morality.
The Rochester New Poor People's Campaign invites all people who have been impacted by poverty, discrimination, or related injustices, as well as, direct providers, advocates, faith and religious leaders, and experts to this community gathering.
The truth commission will share stories that expose the reality of ongoing injustices in our local communities, to develop stronger relationships among us, and build commitment to solidarity. We join the national campaign as it mobilizes communities to prepare for 40 days of action.
