Workers at Unity Living Center on Genesee Street help take care of the sick and elderly. They serve the community and take their work seriously. They take care of our neighbors, family, and friends.
But in their work, they face some serious problems: favoritism, unfair rules, poor communication and low pay. These problems prevent them from doing their jobs!
For almost one year, these workers have been fighting to get a fair union contract to begin to solve these problems. But Unity management doesn't want to change. If you believe in quality care, respect and dignity on the job, and a living wage for all, then please join us as we rally in solidarity with Unity Workers and 1199 SEIU!
