Proposed billboard on Monroe and Canterbury / 60' cell tower / 936 Portland Ave - same scale
Speak to Council Tomorrow About Proposed Billboard and Cell Tower
Rochester’s zoning laws exist to protect public health, safety, and the welfare of our neighborhoods. But the department responsible for enforcing those laws is increasingly bypassing them, favoring the largest corporations. Residents across Rochester are experiencing a pattern of discrimination by the Zoning Department and City administration. Projects that should require strict review are being pushed forward while the public is left in the dark. We need to stop the city selling out our neighborhoods to megacorporations.
Our Demand - Moratorium on new wireless infrastructure and LED billboard proposals until neighbors have more input in zoning decisions. Speak to Council City Hall 6-8 pm, with possible private hearing afterward.
