Monday, June 29 from 7:00-8:00 p.m Webinar Tonight: Jersey City Shows the Way: Divesting from Citizens Bank. Recently, the City Council of Jersey City voted to divest from Citizens Bank in response to their investments in the anti-immigrant structures that our terrorizing communities nationwide — and withdrew $150 million as a first step. This victory comes as the direct result of work done to counter Trump's mass deportations by pulling money and resources from those profiting from ICE infrastructure. We've heard a lot about divestment over the past several years and tonight, our friends at the De-ICE Citizens Bank Coalition will host a webinar on “Jersey City Shows the Way: Divesting from Citizens Bank” to show how this fight was won.
This webinar also comes ahead of a slate of actions planned nationally for mid-July (we'll share more on those soon). To join in tonight, you can register at Jersey City Shows the Way: Divesting from Citizens Bank.
