Rochester Community Television and Metro Justice will host the premier of the Sundance Film Festival award-winning documentary Dirty Wars.
Journalist Jeremy Scahill and Filmmaker Richard Rowley team up to investigate Government-condoned sanctioned operations by Special Operations Forces, funded through "black budgets," that conduct missions in denied areas, engage in targeted killings, snatch and grab individuals, and direct drone, AC-130, and cruise missile strikes.
Following the screening, Director Richard Rowley will join the discussion via skype.
The film is presented by RCTV in association with Metro Justice, Rochester Indymedia and Rochester Against War. Advance Tickets are $10 General Admission and are on sale at RCTV (21 Gorham Street) and via phone at 585.325.1238. Pending availability, they will be on sale at the box office after 6 PM the night of the screening.
