Fast food workers across the nation have announced their next major strike day. On Thursday, December 4th, workers in over 100 cities across the country will go on strike demanding $15/hr and the right to form a union without retaliation. Rochester workers from Wendy's, Burger King, and Tim Hortons will lead a local strike!
When workers stand up for their rights and to end poverty wages, we need to stand up with them. Join us as we rally alongside workers during the busy lunch hour in Collegetown!
For many fast food workers locally, this is the first labor action that they have ever taken. The support that we show as a community lets them know that we take their concerns seriously and are dedicated to supporting their fight. Bring a friend, family member, and neighbor.
There will also be a smaller gathering at the corner of Mt. Hope and Elmwood at 6am! Join us at both if you can!
Prepare for a march, and dress for the cold.
