The first of four Wage Board meetings is being held in Buffalo on June 5th. This Wage Board will determine the wage rate for the fast food industry in New York State by mid July. This meeting is the closest they get to Rochester. So, we have one opportunity to show them the strong support in our community for $15/hr!
Get on the bus as we travel to Buffalo to join other fast food workers and their community supporters from across the state. This mass mobilization will be one of the most significant moments in the nationwide Fight for 15 yet! You don't want to miss out while we make history!
The buses will leave from near the Liberty Pole on the morning of Friday, June 5th, shortly after 7am. We will hold a rally in Rochester to send off those going to Buffalo in fashion! We need a solid showing in Rochester to make sure that the Wage Board knows there is real support for the Fight for 15 here. So, if you can't join us on the bus, make sure to join us at the morning rally.
