Justice Choir Rochester is a local chapter of a national singing organization (www.justicechoir.org) whose mission is to further social and environmental justice movements by engaging communities in singing together. 

We are fortunate to have Metro Justice as our home and host for drop-in rehearsals, and we seek to have at least one monthly "Open Sing" like the one in the photo below, taken at the Dec. 1, 2018 Rochester Alternative Fair (photo credit: Charles Sommers)

Rehearsals are on hold for MAY while we check in and reconfigure for the outdoor singing season.

Our group is informal and welcoming. Rehearsals are a safe space for singers of any level of experience (including none!). 

Our next OPEN SINGS:

What's that? We will sing in a public place (with permission of the proprietors) and invite all present to join us in song. We will do a short program and follow with informal discussions. Lyric sheets provided.
