People continue to face skyrocketed bills with no accountability nor transparency from RG&E; and, the clock continues to click on climate change. We have no time to lose in building an energy system that provides for people instead of serving the wealthy CEOs and shareholders of utility and fossil fuel corporations. 

Join our Rochester for Energy Democracy (RED) Campaign this Saturday to mail out 4000 postcards to residents all over Rochester, and spread the word that it doesn't have to be this way. There is a solution, and that solution is a local and community governed public utility. We can takeover RG&E and replace with a better utility that meets the needs of Rochester's residents; we just need to fight for it together. This postcard is a first step to inviting others to join the movement to take back our power! 

We will gather at the Metro Justice Community Room this Saturday, April 16th from 1:30 to 4:30 PM to get these postcards ready to mail to out. Volunteers can also brainstorm and create fun and informative memes for social media to further spread the word; if you would like to spend some time coming up with memes while here, please bring a laptop! 

There will be snacks, coffee, and other beverages provided. We encourage those coming to bring a snack to share as well! Coming out this Saturday is a meaningful way to meet the wonderful team of volunteers leading this campaign and to learn more about it. - Our address is 1115 East Main Street, the Hungerford Building on the corner of East Main Street and North Goodman Street.

- Go to door #7 and use the intercom to the left of the door to find Metro Justice and call up to our office. We'll buzz you in.
