After a successful first workshop, we're excited to announce a second Volunteer Engagement/New Member Orientation session to be held on Sunday, March 15. If you missed our first workshop, this is your chance to get plugged in to what we do! We're happy to report great feedback after the first round.
Member engagement in the work we do is essential in furthering the fight for a more equitable Rochester — so consider this an opportunity to learn about the 60-year history of the organization, our committee structures and needs, and to share your input on how we can make real change locally. But above all, we want this a space where we help you learn how best to get involved! Whether through writing or design work, grant writing and research, event planning, campaign leadership, or making fundraising calls, we'd love to have your support in the work we do over what is sure to be a pivotal year.
This event will be hosted as a hybrid session (a link will be provided to all who RSVP). While in-person attendance is certainly encouraged, you're more than welcome to join in online.
Please write George Elkind (at [email protected]) if you any questions about the event. We'll hope to see you there!
