Join us for a press conference where Senator Samra Brouk and Assemblymember Sarah Clark will stand with Metro Justice and ratepayers in opposition to the exorbitant rate hikes proposed by RG&E! 

In 2021 alone, RG&E's shareholders extracted $94.4 million in profits from our community. Meanwhile, residents have struggled with excessive bills, inaccurate bills, poor customer service, frequent outages, inhumane shut offs, and jobs being outsourced out of state. RG&E has been so unreliabe, that the Public Service Commission fined the company for poor outage management in 2017 and in 2018, and recently fined the company $900,000 for poor billing service. RG&E has time and again shown that they don’t use our money effectively nor accountably; yet, the company wants to raise rates by 20% and increase their shareholders' return on investment to over 10%!
