In her 2025 budget, Governor Hochul has further delayed New York's critical Cap & Invest program rollout. For the climate and for New Yorkers, this is unacceptable. We need to let the Governor's administration know that she needs to release the cap and invest regulations and fund climate this session! What would this do? It would deliver funds to upgrade all low and moderate income homes FOR FREE and train the workforce we need to do that to create good local jobs! And have polluters pay to do that! 

Join us for NY Renews’ February Week of Action as we continue the fight for critical climate investments in the 2025 Budget. It's time for Governor Hochul and state legislators to Release the Regs and Fund Climate this year! We'll gather at the Accelerator's office (758 South Ave, Rochester, 14620) and online (RSVP for the link) on Thursday, 2/20 from 5:30-6:30pm to call key members of the governor's administration and demand they release the regs and fund climate this year. We'll start with a short orientation to the Fund Climate Campaign before making some calls. Register here!
