Join us to call our neighbors that support the NY Health! We'll be following up with supporters from last weekend's canvass, and with folks who attended the Reproductive Justice Rally in May, to speak with them on how they can continue being active in this fight! With our reproductive rights under attack, and healthcare costs increasing every year, the time for transformative healthcare policy is now. Yet, despite overwhelming support from New Yorkers, our representatives in the NYS Legislature are failing to pass the NY Health Act for affordable, universal, and public healthcare in NY State. 

For reproductive justice and overall health justice to be real, our rights have to be more than words on paper. People have to be able to access care, and right now, the vast majority of New Yorkers struggle to afford even the most basic of healthcare.

The Reproductive Freedom and Equity Act will help make abortion care more accessible in NY State for people both in and out of state. The NY Health Act will gaurantee comprehensive coverage for all. Thanks to years of grassroots organizing and building momentum, the NY Health Act has majority support in both houses of the State Legislature. The bill just needs to come to a vote, and we need to grow our movement to get this bill over the finish line. It's time for everyone in NY to have comprehensive healthcare that is free from the burden of expensive premiums, deductibles, copays, and limited networks.   

Talking to someone on the phone is one of the most effective way to build a relationship and invite them into our movement. We'll be making phonecalls Tuesday, June 14th from 5:45 - 7:45 PM at Metro Justice. Please bring a phone, and laptop if you have one so that you can access our lists and track your calls more easily. Snacks and beverages will be provided! You will also be provided with a brief script and training before starting your calls.

- Go to door #7. Use the intercom to the left of the door to find Metro Justice and call up to our office. We'll buzz you in.
