The Rochester Union of Nurses & Allied Professionals have voted to engage in a 2-day Strike to push the administration of Rochester General Hospital to negotiate a fair contract! Safe staffing and wages competitive enough to retain staff are central to their demands. Nurses are not only fighting for their own standards at work, but for the safety and quality of care that our community deserves when they become patients at RGH. More details can be found here.

Nurses are striking on Thursday, August 3 and Friday, August 4 and will be rallying in front of Rochester General Hospital (1425 Portland Ave) from 7 am - 9 pm both days. Metro Justice is boosting 3 specific shifts: Thursday at 11am-2pm, Thursday 6-9pm, and Friday 6-9pm. You can RSVP for those shifts on this page, below.
