The NEW YORK HEALTH ACT is a bill in the state legislature (read it here) that would guarantee to every New York resident:
AND split the cost fairly and predictably based on income. It would replace our swamp of profiteering insurance with a single payer, cutting out corporate profits and administrative costs so that the overall bill for medical care statewide would be at least $11 billion cheaper per year than it is now. |
